TRUST and OBEY

If I could only apply this to my life on a daily Basis I would be Sooo In-Tune with God's Voice until I wouldn't have any Doubts about anything. Plus I wouldn't have to question anything when He spoke to me because I would know it was His voice and not the enemy's. What a wonderful Blessing that would be for the rest of my life, which would be the only Blessing I would Need. AMEN and Praise the Lord for such a Blessing. 

TRUST and OBEY

 

When we walk with the Lord
in the light of His word,
what a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will,
he abides with us still,
and with all who will trust and obey.


Trust and obey, for there's no other way
to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.


Not a shadow can rise,
not a cloud in the skies,
but His smile quickly drives it away;
not a doubt nor a fear,
not a sigh nor a tear,
can abide while we trust and obey.


Not a burden we bear,
not a sorrow we share,
but our toil he doth richly repay;
not a grief or a loss,
not a frown or a cross,
but is blest if we trust and obey.


But we never can prove
the delights of His love
until all on the altar we lay;
for the favor he shows,
and the joy he bestows,
are for them who will trust and obey.


Trust and obey, for there's no other way
to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.


Then in fellowship sweet
we will sit at his feet,
or we'll walk by his side in the way;
what He says we will do,
where he sends we will go;
never fear, only trust and obey.

PRAISE THE LORD !

Since January 18, 2011 I have had:

My phone stolen right in front of my eyes, while I was in an office applying for a house to rent. To top it off when I asked the secretary there at the counter (which was where I laid my phone) if she knew the guy that just left the counter and if the camera in the corner worked because I think he took my phone, she got mad and said no I didn’t take it, I have my own phone.
~
I told her that I didn’t accuse her of that and she ended up saying that she didn’t want me on her property. Unfortunately they had a few houses that I could afford. A few days later I broke out in hives because that seemed like the last straw in my life for the past 7 months.
~
A couple of days ago I went for an appointment for an interview for job about 100 miles only to find out that the one I would be replacing isn't leaving anymore. That was a 200 mile round trip wasted. Now why couldn’t they have told me that before I left?
~
On my way there one of my lenses from my glasses fell out and I couldn’t find it so I had to drive with one eye open and the other one closed there and back in order to at least see out of the lens that I did have. When I got back I bought a pair of reading glasses at Walgreens  just for focusing, but I can’t really read with them unless I have a magnifying glass.
~

1. While I was driving I kept a constant headache because I could only use one eye and had to force the  other one to stay shut....
2. I used up a half tank of gas....
3. My brakes on my car needs fixed....
4. My muffler may fall off and makes a lot of noise....
5. In a few days I need to leave where I am staying and don't have a place to go.…

God Must Have Something really wonderful around the corner for me because the enemy is trying his best to discourage me so I can’t see the blessing I am about to receive.  PRAISE THE LORD! My Father Has a Plan for me. I just need to Trust and Obey.

I am not saying that I didn’t get discouraged when these things happened,  I did and I cried out, Why?  Jesus reminded me how His life was when he was here on Earth. He didn’t get discouraged because He knew that His Father would be there for Him and no one could pluck Him out of His Father’s Arms, which is His Promise for us as well.

John 10:28-29
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
~
Just keep Jesus close, especially when you feel that your life is tumbling (sometimes it seems to be plunging) down hill and you can’t seem to get a grip on the ground under you. Remember the Rock that is under your feet is Jesus.

While Peter was walking on water to Jesus and took his eyes off of Jesus, who was right in front of him, Matthew 14:28-31.  Don’t look to the Left or Right. Be like a horse in a race and keep those Blinders on to help you focus on the straight and narrow path to God.   AMEN!

Examine Myself

At first I was using the words our, we, us, you, your, and yourself, but I am going to exchange those words for words to I, me, my and myself because it is about me. Not because I am anybody more special, but because I am accountable for myself and my relationship with Christ. I can't save myself much less someone else. You can read this and take it personal for yourself. But I can't speak for you.


After watching the video Examine Yourself by Paul Washer I took a long hard look at myself and realized that I wasn't doing everything I needed to do to Glorify God and be an example of His Character, not my character.  I am suppose to be a witness to others to show His Character with ways of a new birth in Christ. Not my old wicked ways of Lucifer.  Some may not realize it but God is being Judged Daily. People are watching Him  through my Actions and Daily living. I could be the only Bible someone sees to bring them closer to God.


Lucifer wanted to be just like the Most High. But if he really understood what it was to be like God he would of understood that he didn't have to compete with God. All he had to do was to love and that would of been "Like The Most High" Lucifer didn't understand how close he was to being "Like The Most High"


Isaiah 14:12-14   How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.


Lucifer  (light-bearer) had an "I" (eye) problem and wasn't looking through God's loving, caring eyes. God is love, merciful, forgiving, caring, understanding, long-suffering (having or showing patience in spite of troubles) and yes a servant. Does He not serve by taking care of me, seeing to my needs, being there for me at my beckon calls. Lucifer  misrepresented  who God really was (and still is) and took one third of the angels.


If Lucifer had realized what that really meant to be Like The Most High, he would of been more like God's Character and would not of  envied God. He would of been a loving and caring angel and "Like The Most High". 


I Claim Christ's name when I say I am a Christian which means I have claim His Character. I know that is a tall order for me to claim but with God all things are possible. All I have to do is claim His promises and give Him myself and everything I own. He was the one who gave them to me even my life. Now I have to give back the broken pieces of my life for Him to fix and protect.
